Council of Europe
YOUNG EUROPEAN HERITAGE MAKERS
Pupils of the 9-A grade took part in the International Competition "Young European Heritage Makers", which is organized by the Council of Europe and the European Commission as part of the "Days of European Heritage" program. The European Heritage Days are the most widely celebrated participatory cultural event shared by the people of Europe. The Council of Europe launched the initiative in 1985, and in 1999 was joined by the European Union to create the joint action, which has continued up to the present day. Conceivably, the Programme, which can boast up to 20 million visitors every year, generates the greatest value, Euro for Euro, of any “European” cultural project.

The project is funded by the European Union

European Union
eTwinning
eTwinning is the largest community of schools in Europe. The program provides the activity of an Internet platform for teachers, on the basis of which European schools implement joint online projects. Our school has been a member of the community since 2016, and we have implemented 6 projects. This year students joined the Christmas Cards Exchange project, which aims to exchange customs and traditions of Christmas in different countries and, as a final result, to exchange Christmas greeting cards. The 190 participants in this project were distributed in such a way that children received cards from different countries and learned more about the traditions of other cultures. Our gymnasium will work in teams with students from Italy, Turkey, Spain, and Romania.

UNICEF
GLOBAL DIGNITY DAY
There are many countries in the world that have gone through or are going through similar experiences to Ukraine. Their families have also faced severe challenges, but they are holding on and do not forget their dignity and freedom. The decent always support the decent. In people whose values are similar to yours, you can always find support and faith that good always triumphs over evil.
Many people around the world support Ukraine and Ukrainians. Among those who help Ukrainians are students from different countries. This year, a special video message was recorded by students from the United States and the United Kingdom.
Students of the 6th grade recorded and sent a video message to their peers from Pembroke Dock Community School in the UK in response to their video greetings on the occasion of the holiday to support Ukrainian students

UNICEF has been implementing this initiative in Ukraine since 2015, in partnership with other NGOs and youth organisations. In 2021, AIESEC Ukraine will join the project.
The project raises awareness of global issues, motivates to be active, take responsibility and develop leadership skills
